Year? 1980

Hello Everyone!

Sorry I' haven't been too good at posting new or better said, unknown things I've done in the past.
Here's one of those. This is one of the first pieces I ever did for publication. Back then I used to work in pen and ink directly on the paper! No previous sketches, nor pencil work. If things got messed up, I used to start over in anew piece of paper. Of course I've grown up and don't do sill stuff like that anymore! : )
Mr Francis Ford Coppola the way he looked back then.
In other news, this is just a minuscule part that will be in the book of my work I'm preparing.

It's about time you did a book, you have a lot of material and it would be great for us upcoming caricaturists, that way I don't have to refer to little pics from your website to study!!

Tim:
Yeah, that's how I started; Pen and ink. Not even doing a pencil sketch first! Pretty daring, huh?
Yeah, the book is in the works but it will take some time.

David:
Thanks man! I'll do my best to include material that helps people that are starting out.

Kikelin:
Gracias por tus palabras! Esa fue de las primeras que hice por alla a los 14/15 años de existencia...

I love sketching more than completing a smooth drawing. I justl ove using pencil, it's my favorite medium. Of course I am no artist but I hope to be one day becasue I love art. It's amazing that you can do such a clean drawing without even sketching it out first. keep up the amazing work.
